| Order Processing |
| Credit cards are processed immediately upon checkout. Please allow on average 3-5 business days for products to leave the warehouses (shipping transit time is in addition to this processing time). The items shown on this web site are shipped from various manufacturers and suppliers across the United States and order processsing times at these facilities will vary. If lead time is known to be longer than 5 days, it is noted in the product's description. Please save or print a copy of the order confirmation page and the email order confirmation as your receipt. Refer to your order number shown on these documents when contacting customer service by phone or email. If you do not receive an order confirmation within 24 hours, please first check your junk and/or spam mailbox before calling to see if it was received in either of those places. If you have a sensitive email filter, please add our email and/or domain name to your safe recipient or contact list. We cannot be responsible for missed mail sent to or transferred to a junk or spam mailbox. |
| Shipping |
| Free Ground Shipping: Free ground shipping applies to shipping within the 48 contiguous states only. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada will be charged actual shipping cost. We will send you an email with the costs for your approval if outside of the Continental United States. Actual shipping costs are based on weight and destination, not price of the item(s). Customers in Canada will be responsible for any added duty or customs fees. Due to customs fees, high cost of shipping and liability issues, we do not ship overseas. Express Shipping: 2-Day and Next Day shipping can be arranged with costs billed to the customer. Transit Time: Once shipped, ground delivery time will vary depending upon destination. Average ground shipping time is 4-5 business days. All of the items on our web site are shipped ground service through UPS, Fed Ex or Freight Carrier at no extra charge. Freight carrier shipments (oversized or multiple quantity orders) can take extra time for delivery. Extra Services: Freight carrier shipping does not include lift gate or inside delivery. These services can be added for an additional fee. Lift gate is required if the delivery location does not have a truck height loading dock or a fork lift. Items will be offloaded outside and it is the customer's responsibility to move the item indoors unless inside delivery is pre-scheduled. Inside delivery is an additional fee where items are delivered inside the closest ground floor door only. Please inquire for additional costs on special requests (i.e., delivery up flights of stairs). Shipping does not include assembly or removal of packaging materials by any freight carrier. Responsibilities: Desks4Computers is not responsible for any delays from shipping companies created by, but not limited to: change of customer's address, incomplete or incorrect customer address, no-signature required waivers, weather delays or other unforeseen natural circumstances. If a customer supplies an incorrect address, redelivery fees will be charged and/or required to re-direct the pacakage(s). |
| Returns/Exchanges/Damages |
| General Information: PLEASE, do not order something with the mindset that you will return it if you do not like it. Verify and double-check room dimensions and verify your computer equipment will fit on the product before you buy. If you have questions or do not see a dimension you need, please contact us. We cannot accept returns for assembled merchandise. Any return must be in the original packaging. |
| Returns: Non-damaged/defective and unaltered merchandise can be returned within 30 days of the order date unless otherwise noted in the item's description (some items are made to order and are non-returnable). In backorder circumstances, returns are accepted 30 days from the date of shipment. A 25% restocking fee is assessed when returning items. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. Please follow these steps for returning an item; otherwise a credit cannot be issued: 1) Contact Desks4Computers for a return authorization (RA) number and ship to address. This RA number must be written on the outside of the box. Items must be shipped back to the correct supplier/distributor. Do not ship the item to Desks4Computers.Damages: Immediately contact Desks4Computers if an order is delivered with damages or defects. Desks4Computers will then contact the respective manufacturer or supplier for replacement of damaged or defective merchandise if notified within 15 days of delivery. After 15 days we cannot file a damage claim with the shipping companies and replacements will incur a fee. Please provide us with the condition of the package as delivered and a list of damaged or missing parts by referring to the assembly instructions for part names or identifying numbers. This will provide us with the information we need to determine if a full replacement is needed or if replacement parts will be sent. Please contact us to arrange for this service. Please inspect and assemble merchandise upon delivery for any damages and defective or missing parts. If a freight carrier delivers an item with signature required, it is then the customer's responsibility to inspect the package and its contents for damage and any missing items and to note the damage or missing item(s) with the driver. Customers must retain the damaged parts until carrier inspection is completed and/or until new parts arrive. We can then either arrange for the return of damaged parts or ask customers to dispose of the damaged pieces. Inspections by UPS, Fed Ex or freight carriers can take anywhere from 7-10 days on average to complete. We ask for your patience and compliance in this process. Any scheduled pick up of damaged items must occur at the location where the item was delivered (no exceptions). Please note certain items are non-returnable per the suppliers' policy and are noted as such in the product description. Refusals / Intercepts: If a delivery is refused or an intercept (request for non-delivery) is placed on a package, the customer will be charged for the outbound and return freight expenses, plus the 25 % restocking fee. Any refunds will be processed once the item has been returned to its original warehouse. Please Note: Once your order has been shipped, the shipping address cannot be changed. If a change is absolutely necessary, please contact us for the additional charges to re-route the shipment. Package intercepts are not guaranteed by any shipper. |
| Cancellations |
| If you need to cancel your order, please contact us at info@desks4computers.com or phone 970-240-8888. Please note that your order may begin processing immediately after you place your order, and it may not be possible to cancel the order. If the order has been shipped, customers will be responsible to return the merchandise (see return information above). |
| Custom Orders |
| If ordering a custom item, please be aware that the order cannot be cancelled once it has been placed. Custom items are those that state they are imported from a foreign country or are made to order in the product description. PLEASE, do not order a custom product with the mind set that you will return it if you do not like it. Make sure you want it and that it fits into the space you have before you buy. Any damages or defects in custom orders will be handled as quickly as possible with the perspective manufacturer or supplier. Delivery time on imported/custom orders will vary due to the nature of importing and the manufacturing process - please see the product description page for approximate delivery times. |

| We accept payment on-line via major credit card or debit card (Visa, MC, Amex or Discover). We also accept credit card and debit card payments over the phone or by fax (to fax an order please use our printable order form - link found at the top of each page). Credit cards are charged upon checkout as a security measure - information is purged immediately and not kept in our system. We accept company checks, bank checks, and money orders by mail (no personal checks) when submitted with our printable order form. We are often able to accept purchase orders from businesses, schools and non-profit organizations - please contact us for terms and conditions and an account application (purchase orders accepted at our discrection). No COD. Note: Checks must clear our bank before the order will be processed. |

| Product warranties are included with the item(s) shipped. Warranties vary by manufacturer and claims against the warranty are at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.
